Is it ever acceptable to wear a denim jacket with jeans?
Does it depend on the colours?

Double denim. Oh dear me.
I think it depends. I'm sure there are some people who can pull it off, but it's probably best avoided.

I've never done it, but I've recently bought a denim jacket and realised that I can't wear it much as I'm just about always in jeans.
It's a deep blue/indigo jacket.

Buy some cords. They're like jeans but you're allowed to wear them with denim.
My Dad liked to wear denim jacket and jeans in the 90s. He was so cool.

Good call. I used to wear cords all the time in the 90s as a teenager. Beige ones.
Beige, moss green or blue. All would be fine. Burgundy might be pushing it with an indigo denim.
Shakin Stevens used to wear a denim jacket with jeans.
As did those lovable colleens in B*Witched. "Say you will/say you won't..."
^^Then so shall I!
I saw him live once. Gah.
I do like a nice cord trouser.
