Well they haven't interrupted this James Bond film to announce it, so, no.
Foxes can jam satellite signals
After closing everything down and restarting, it appears to be working except no sound. Technology is a box of magic tricks and I don't know the magic words.
Ha! Eureka! It's all back!

You know, I keep getting this feeling you're jealous of my fox.

Getting ready to head outside to brew 10 gallons of beer in heat that can only be described as oppressive. I do not look forward to hovering over a pot of boiling beer for a few hours.
Billwill's main computer had gorn funny..
The Ubuntu Virtual Computer on the Windows XP had reverted to just 800x600 screen & nothing seemed to fix it (it was like trying to view the Internet through a letterbox), so at present that computer is doing a backup of all the emails & data so that I can start afresh with a new Virtual Computer running Mint 11.
The backup says it will take 5 hours !!

This is being typed on one of my 'other' computers which I use as an experimental computer.
An experimental computer? What does that do? Does it cook breakfast on alternate Tuesdays?

Heh Heh, maybe.
I did do a computer back in the late 80's that managed the temperature of 19 rooms of a fruit warehouse the size of a football pitch to an accuracy of a half degree centigrade above the freezing point of the fruit. A different temperature in each room depending on what fruit was in it.
Total value of fruit several million quid.
Did you work for Apple?
Getting sleepy after yesterday's terrible lack of sleep in a field.
