Nice troll thread. Correct spelling can go out the window when it comes to writing dialect or we wouldn't have Br'er Rabbit or Trainspotting.

In dialogue, maybe so. And even then I'd say it has to be done wisely. Pages and pages of it can tax the eyes and mind. For example, Roddy Doyle, I like but only in small doses.

In non-dialogue areas of scripts, I'd disagree with you. :)
