Cry me a river. Seriously, please cry me a river because we're withering in this heatwave and drought.

I suppose you're not used to extreme weather in TEXAS!

We are from drizzly England. Last time we were adapted to heat was back in Africa some 20,000+ years ago.

Are you still a student, zooo? Eh?

This extreme heat is worse than usual and extends across much of the nation but Texas' biggest worry is the severe drought. Deer are dying of starvation, thousands of square miles of planted crops have been abandoned and we can expect huge fires in the coming months. Tropical Storm Don passed overhead last weekend but it fizzled and didn't really drop any rain.

You think that's bad? I'm having to sit around in my pants!

What do the other passengers make of it?

Most have joined in.

There is crazy rain happening now and the sky has gone super dark.

Yesterday I had a $14 antelope burger that might have been the best burger I've ever eaten.

:D

When you say pants - do you mean your clarts

UK pants, not US pants.

I hate pants weather :(

Riley knows why the Daleks won't be in the next series/bit of Dr Who. It is because they are working in call centres processing Job seekers allowance.

Oh, it's not all bad...

Where is this weather? Cos it's not that hot here.

Wild deer vs. farm-raised antelope. One bite of that burger and even the most steadfast vegetarian would become a meat-seeking missile.

You're obviously looking in the wrong window. I look like Rab C Nesbitt in a tatty black wig.

:D I'm sure it's bloody lovely. Never tried anything beyond a beef burger in my carnivore days though.
