Oh my.
Jodhpurs....yeah!
Who trumped?
Horseriding does NOT look fun.
The outfits are quite cool though.
It's cruel, although I still don't mind having a flutter
Yeah, but jodhpurs, eh?

Why is horse riding cruel??
I understand that most of the time they're very well looked after. It's all the whipping and being forced to jump hurdles, putting them at risk of broken bones, pain and possible death that I'm not so keen on. But I'm a hypocrite. I do bet on t'horses every once n a while.
Um that's racing, not horse riding
Precisely. Horse riding is great harmless fun for both me, er, you and the horse, providing there aren't any policemen around.

So what do horse riders do at a competitive level? Just pet the horse? Don't they make it jump through hoops?

Steeple chase they jump over Hurdles. Show jumping they jump over things that fall apart if you touch them. Horses like to jump. Flat racing they don't jump over anything. Bad use of the crop gets jockeys in trouble. Horses like to both race and jump in fact. Most horse riding is not competitive. Plus.. as stated earlier there is the jodhpurs!
Fair enough.
