AN AWARDS CEREMONY. AARON IS ON STAGE AT A LECTURN IN FRONT OF A PACKED AUDIENCE.

AARON:
And now, our final award: "Troll of the Year". The nominations are:

AARON READS A FEW NAMES FROM A PIECE OF PAPER. THEN HE TURNS THE PAPER OVER AND READS A FEW MORE NAMES.

A FEW PEOPLE IN THE AUDIENCE START LOOKING AT THEIR WATCHES; ONE OR TWO GET UP AND LEAVE.

AARON COMES TO THE END OF THE SECOND PAGE. HE REACHES DOWN AND PICKS UP A TELEPHONE DIRECTORY-SIZED BOOK, AND BEGINS READING MORE NAMES OUT FROM PAGE ONE.

MORE PEOPLE IN THE AUDIENCE LOOK AT THEIR WATCHES, THEN LEAVE.

THE READING CONTINUES. BY THE TIME AARON REACHES THE END OF THE BOOK THERE IS ONLY ONE MAN LEFT IN THE AUDIENCE.

AARON:
And the winner is: actually, it's jointly awarded to all the nominees! Please, all of you, join me on stage!

THE MAN IN THE AUDIENCE LETS OUT A WHOOP AND GETS UP ON STAGE TO ACCEPT THE AWARD.

I was thinking music would play over as he is mouthing the words, and we scan the audience. Not my place to direct it, though.

Do the audience leave because they are the trolls? Not quite getting this yet

Yes, I've added another reference to looking at their watches.

I imagined an audience of trolls leaving in shame having been exposed by Arron and by the end having only one left who wasn't a troll...I'd have found that funnier.

The audience is made up of multiple versions of [insert your favourite troll here] with different outfits, costumes and makeup on. Some are old, some are fat, thin, tall short and so on.

**DRUM ROLL**

AARON:

[insert your favourite troll here] start fighting each other.

Aaron looks and the camera and shrugs.

I think Badge's original aim and execution works best.

I left early myself (after the first two lines) so am unable to comment.

But I'm all for his execution!

Could work a number of ways really, sometimes I can look at a sketch and take it as is straight away, perfecto, other times I find my mind going off and seeing it another way, just how it is.

I don't know what twat rote this sketch but he's a twat. I don't get it.
