Does the DVD set still end with him singing a song?

Yes. And I loved the way he commented that a comedian picking-up an acoustic guitar is considered more embarrassing/threatening to the audience than him expressing a desire to see Richard Hammond dead.

I bet he doesn't then leap off the stage and race out of the room before everyone can leave so he can get to the merch table to sign stuff though! :P He's nippier than he looks.

He does indeed.

I feel so betrayed when he does the bit with the microphone and the Caffe Nero card. He told us that only the people of Peterborough had laughed at it, but he was lying.

A somewhat irritable Stew put this in his newsletter:

Quote: Stew's Newsletter

A c**t is pretending to be me on Twitter, which is annoying.
It is not possible for me to stop this c**t without joining Twitter, which I will not do.
The c**t is using a picture that is mine as his Avatar.
It would be good if this c**t would stop pretending to be me before he creates problems.
I will never appear on Twitter.
I will also never pretend to appear on Twitter.
The fact that a c**t can do this is partly why.
I will not be held hostage by you people.

Dan

Hehe. He's cute when he's all grumpy.

The Twitter bloke sounds like a twat.

How can you tell the difference?

I find the venom Lee has for the internet perplexing, given that he and Herring were the pioneers of internet-TV interactive crossover content blah blah blah blah... why the hell do I feel compelled to even share this view? I'm going to hit Post Reply anyway, knowing that it will add no value to the universe.

Doesn't he just hate Twitter et al? Which I can understand.

I went to see Stew's first new material gig at the Soho Theatre tonight. Oh no I didn't, because somebody had been hit by a train at Wimbledon for the second f**king time in consecutive trips to London. Yes, both at Wimbledon.

Anybody go? What was it like?

"These days I mainly meet other comics at the 60 or so unpaid charity benefit shows I do every year, and I never see McIntyre at any of these, so I don't know him"

Another cheap dig from Lee here, what an arsehole.

Rolling eyes

My take on the Lee/McIntyre rumble:
