Please critique our new siamese twin puppet sketch

hi guys, would really value your comment on these puppets I've done on a well limited 3p budget.

the basic premise is that Norris and Stephane are Siamese twins who can't stand each other, but have no choice given that, er, obviously, their bodies are connected from the neck down. they play out a series of sketches showcasing their absolute hatred to one another.

we put this series together as a taster and are desperate for feedback. if we can get enough support and proof that they are liked enough and have potential then we can use this to help us get funding to do more exciting things with them, give them a real location for example, better clothes, a dressing room perhaps... so we'd like to know how you feel about the characters, does it work, does it make you laugh, or do you generally think the whole thing is toilet and flush it away. if you like 'em, send it to your pals as a pressie. personally, I think they grow on you, but would love to hear your views.

just to add to my incompetence, I also want to get this out virally and I don't think I'm doing it totally right. at the mo, I'm posting the link to the sketches on forums and also tracking results using Google alerts, but anyone got any spankingly good ways to do it even better?

please be honest with your opinions... but gentle at the same time.

Thelma and Louis are: The Double Headers...

there appears to be a glut of Siamese capers, perhaps you should PM each other and work to create the most outrageous quads imaginable.

Like the look of the characters, the camera-work, the voices, the echo in the voices (makes them sound alone in the world) and the way the moustaches move. The premise of conjoint twins who are often in disagreement with one another is a good one (probably been done already but brain's blank right now) and the characters have enough personality to carry it off.

Didn't find it laugh-out-loud funny exactly, but was enjoyable and interesting enough. I didn't get the 'Smell' and 'Present' segments and I thought the other segments could have been a bit more concise. Overall, did like it though.

My 2 pence anyway

ha yeah thanks teddy, guess the siamese twin works as the ultimate two people who hate each other but who can't get away from each other set-up.

thanks yac, good to hear, 'smell' and 'present' are more like snippets taken from a larger conversation - we wanted to see how that went down...
thanks for the feedback

Brilliant...!!!

Especially liked Crack and Up All Night, both really funny...

The open credits and curtains were really good too...

The only query I had was the titles and their positioning, I take it Stephane is the French one on the left but his name comes second. Might sound stupid, it's just my way of thinking...

Thanks RedZed, much appreciated. Never even considered that about the titles but you're absolutely right!
