I found it unfunny and offensive/racist, if this gets on the BBC I would be very very surprised and then appalled.
Henry the Anti-Semitic Hamster Page 2
My only problem is the beep! Takes away some of the effectiveness.
This is one of those things that shouldn't be at all funny, but is.
Well I laughed! Brilliant and memorable. A rare gem.
What am I missing..?
I honestly found it infantile, even the graphics were basic, given the rave reviews from other posters I looked again and again, but for me its not there.
All I can see is two badly drawn hamsters using a racist remark to get a cheap laugh.
I don't mind controversial comedy and have used words such as Jap, Jerry even eyetie but this stuff is so basic it like something the BNP would produce I found it gross.
Wow.
(To some of the above)
*doubts Nogget*
Rather than have me scratching my head about this one and given the amount of fans it has. Would one please post what it is they find funny about this one?
It says what it is and what it's going to do in the title.
The title only helped identify the things as hamsters, I would describe them as Coypu Budgies.
Hamster one says nothing of note and the other just does what it said on the tin?
I think its the difference between Cartman & Mel Gibson ones funny the other racist.
If one hamster had a Hitler Mustache and was dressed as Nazi and the punchline came from the non Nazi hamster "I knew you'd say that" then it would be funny.
But as it stands it just looks like something from Der sturmer, when it could be actually funny.
(Hands up those who were ready to post "I Know Cartmans a real racist?"
OK, I'll go. I found it funny because it was completely unexpected and random. From the title you expect it to be a small racist rant from an animated hamster. When it isnt, you kind of relax a little bit. Then the genius of the few seconds of silence, before the completely random and uncalled for exclaimation. The joke is that the hamster is not ranting about jews... the joke is the almost jew hating tourettes on show. I also find things like this to be funny, because I have a genuine interest in what causes offence and the nature of people that can be offended by the words of an animated hamster. Of course, there are also the people that just liek to pretend to be offended.
Well you might be interested in this little conundrum, how the f**k did you get surprised by the reply from Henry The Anti Semitic Hampster, he only had one line and that was anti semitic!
I can make leaps but Evel Knevil would struggle with that one.
For you to find this unexpected and random is amazing if I was you I would avoid Jack in the Boxes like the plague, they might kill you!

If you don't get why it was unexpected, then I don't know what else I can say. And there is no need to be so hostile. You ask why people thought it was funny (and the vast majority have) and I told you why I thought it was funny. Now you are trying to convince me that I didnt find it funny? I did... sorry.

And I don't know where you get 'he only had one line and that was anti semitic'...Henry did most of the talking.
Teddy, I don't think aggression is really the best way to encourage people to want to engage with you.
I liked the sketch, Yacob. The timing was perfect.
I am not trying in the least to be aggressive and apologise if that's what your picking up.
I'm incredulous not angry, my response is written verbal its how I respond, its as though I'm saying get the f**k out of here, not I'm going to murder everyone in the room!
Sorry If I have offended it was not my intention I'm just amazed.
My point is that when you click on the video you expect there to be bile from the start...but there is not. There are two cute little animated hamsters. One of them tells a Christmas cracker joke about Amsterdam and then pauses for a few seconds, almost making the viewer think that the video is wrongly title. That's why the random blurt of hate at the end is so unexpected and funny.
In relation to Hamsterdam I wouldn't even try and that get joke past a an illegal immigrant with no English who was working for below minimum wage on the night shift at a sweat shop Christmas cracker factory, that had a rush job on!.
