Secrets of the Pop Song. We've talked of ths before, but Joan Jett is still mightily sexy.
What are you watching on TV? Page 1,476
Just catching the end of that before Big Hits: TOTP 1964 to 1975. I hope it's not the one that was on BBC Four a while ago.

I've always found Tracy quite foxy
Do I need my head testing???
No.
Watching a 60s / 70s Top of the Pops compilation. Some incredibly iconic TV moments. The Righteous Brothers, Julie Driscoll, Bowie's Starman, Rod. the Faces and John Peel doing Maggie. Brilliant stuff.
The Money Pit. Yayyy! I was just in the mood for an '80s film.
<3
Haven't seen this in years, too late to starting watching it now though.

She looks like a crack whore, but with less artistic talent.

I guess it wasn't.
Quote: Nil Putters @ July 16 2011, 4:59 PM BSTApart from an extra tuner I don't get the different between TiVo and Virgin+ (or whatever it's called).
There's 3 tuners I believe and 3 buffers, which I think are different things but I'm not sure? What I understand it to be is Record 3 at a time and watch a recorded one. Which is a bit, something you probably don't need but it's probably there to do its other trick and record shows it's trying to recommend to you.
But, that recommend thing doesn't appeal to me that much. Probably quite annoying for for first few weeks whilst it tries to suggest some weird arse shite I'd never watch.
There's also all the apps or widgets or whatever. Again, not really that appealing but maybe a fun novelty?
The main appeal is that I find current V boxes a pain in the arse, constantly crashing, freezing and an awful EPG. Plus we've had our V+ box replaced about 3 times and lost a shit load of recordings. Virgin has a good service (mainly down to its OnDemand massssive library and Catchup services) but it utilizes them pretty poorly.
I was kinda hoping TiVo would have a better way of doing things. So was just curious is all.

Yes, and the V+ one has two tuners allowing two recordings whilst one plays back. Not thatmuch difference.

Ah, that'll be the difference then, although why you need apps or widgets to watch/record TV is beyond me, I'd just end up f**king about with them and not concentrating on what I wanted to watch.

Dunno, I can't afford V+ I don't even pay for the Virgin TV service, the gave me the box free but it's basically just the freeview channels.

I didn't even know there was Freeview option on Virgin, I thought it was get paying or get out? Do you have Catchup TV like iPlayer?
I'm not proud. I'm more than happy with just Freeview.

They provide me with the internet and a phone line, which I pay for, but they wanted me to have the TV too. I said I had Freeview in my TV and didn't need it so they said they'd give me a box, or nothing, with just the Freeview stuff on. As it does have catchup on it, I snapped it up.
Cool.
