Ten Four Theatre: A Table for Six http://www.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/opportunity/table_for_six_2011.shtml
++++ EDIT +++++
Extended deadline: 25th July 2011
TenFour Theatre is accepting submissions of monologues by emerging writers for its new production, A Table for Six, which will build on the success of TenFour's last production, April 14: A Night of New Stories at The Light Industrial Theatre in Southwark.
The show will revolve around an informal dinner party & its guests. The selected monologues will determine the characters attending the dinner.
The monologue must be internal and should be sparked off by something your character notices at the dinner party; a napkin, another guest's attire, a pot plant in the corner, the door mat on the way in, a pudding spoon etc. No other guest can hear or respond to the piece.
The monologue should be five to ten minutes in length.
A series of short scenes will be written to link the pieces together.
No prior writing experience is required.
Submissions are to be sent to:
New Writing Initiative, TenFour Theatre, 60 Colney Hatch Lane, London N10 1EA
