;) No more is allowed 'c**ts' on BCG, keep up with general opinion on other threads such as 'who do you fancy'.

Well not banned but...anyway I reckon its tough to take penalties.

What the f**k is the Scottish Football season doing starting already....?

It's to help them prepare for European competitions or something. I was as shocked as you, BF!

Sheer blind stupidity.

Man, Scottish football is just a complete joke, isn't it? Two teams, from the same city, take it in turns to win the league every f**king year, leaving a gigantic points gap between themselves and the other teams. I know there have only been 3 English teams that have won the Premiership, since Blackburn won it 16 years ago, but at least other teams, like Liverpool, Newcastle and Leeds have at times come close, and the likes of Everton, Spurs, Villaand City regularly manage to hold their own against the big 3. Then again, I suppose the English league has been lucky that it's had far more money inveted into it and it's teams.

Would anyone on here like to see Celtic and Rangers in the Premiership?

Yes.

Yes. But opens up a host of problems.

I remember hearing about how, when Everton played Rangers, for the Testimonial match of defender Dave Watson, some Rangers fans were running through the streets around Goodison, punching Everton fans and shouting stuff about them all being Catholics. The truth is religion has nothing to do with which team you support in Liverpool/Merseyside, and anyway Everton F.C. was originally formed by a Protestant Church! The same Church, by the way, that formed Liverpool F.C., 14 years later.

Would definitely be tricky. I mean, how can you just add two new teams into the Premiership? There'd be an uproar from whoever just missed out on promotion from The Championship and then the Scottish league would no doubt go bankrupt.

When Arsenal played Celtic last season, I was chatting to a Celtic supporter who was telling me that there wouldn't be any trouble because Arsenal (among others) was seen as a Celtic club back in the day, and Chelsea (among others) was Rangers associated. I had no idea of the complexities all over the country!

My team (Bolton) played Celtic in a friendly at Bolton a few years back.

Now there was thousands of them outside the ground before the game, and while there was no trouble as far as I could tell, there was several Irish/IRA related flags

f**k that bullshit

i don't want that lot of bigotted wankers in our league

f**k em'
