Can anybody confirm this?

Hi, this might be a strange question.

There is a very popular Danish comedy sketch at the moment, where a recording artist is singing a popular song with a significant word replaced by the word penis (think Beatles "All You Need is Love", with penis replacing love). The manager then suggests that they try it with the correct word (love instead of penis). They try it and then agree that penis is a better choice.

A friend of mine claims that this sketch was originally done by Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones in either Alas Smith & Jones or Not The Nine O'Clock News. Can anybody remember if they have ever done anything like that?

Best regards,

Jesper

Yes they did, the singer kept saying 'Wank' at the end of the piece. I think the Father Ted boys wrote it?

I remember it now I see it again.

BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAA

love it

can you remember what show it was in?
