Anyone know if it's possible to get a list of companies and/or businesses that went bankrupt or folded in the last two decades? Preferably in Essex or Shropshire? Is that information kept anywhere in a nice easy to access place?
Any help much appreciated.

If you go to the Companies House website, you can check lists of dissolved Companies and if you find the one you were interested in you could probably pay for a copy of their last financial records.
If it was not a Limited company, I guess it will be much more difficult, you would have to look through newspapers or court records (I think).

Yes, I've been looking at it. I seems to have everything I need.
