British Comedy Guide

Hailing from Iran

Hi. I'm Hamird and I'm from Iran. Here most people are interested in American sitcoms such as Friends, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory and so on. but I never liked them. Instead for the first time I watched the Blackadder and I really loved it. Bottom, The Young Ones, The Thin Blue Line were other sitcoms made me more intested. Recently I'm into surrealistic sitcoms. I've watched The Mighty Boosh and Spaced and I'm gonna get some more. The Mighty Boosh is my most favourite at the moment.
So Rowan Atkinson, Rik Mayall, Simon Pegg and Noel Fielding are my comedy idols.
I'm here to find more and more British sitcoms and comedies.
BTW I'm a die hard fan of Scottish Premier League and I'm on Glasgow Celtic side. I also fancy Liverpool in Premier League.
Anyway I'm really intersted in Britain's culture and history and arts. And I'm glad I've found here a place to find out about British comedy.

Cheers,
Hamird.

Thanks. I have seen Mr Bean but I haven't seen Fawlty Towers. BTW the most recent series I've watched are The IT Crowd and Black Books.

Welcome Hamird, I work in an office job where we often speak to people of many different nationalities. I must say that in my experience, Iranian people are always very pleasant and friendly people to speak to.

Welcome to BCG, hope you enjoy your time here and discover the best of British comedy :)

Easy mistake to make, but the bit after the question mark's usually left for the other person.

Howdy Hamird!
