Excuse the language but I am so angry!

What the f**k are the BBC playing at? They could have shown last week's My Family at 8:30 instead on a Question of Sport, instead they cancel that and replace it with the news. OMG what is wrong with them? Looks like we won't be seeing the episode 'A Night Out' That was the one episode I liked the sound of and was looking forward to as well.

A Night Out will probably pop up as episode 5 or something. It was always unlikely that they'd play it this week, as that'd have resulted in further TV listings magazines being incorrect.

Anyway, I enjoyed Labour Pains.

Both "A Night Out" (episode 2) and "Labour Pains" (episode 3) are available to watch on iPlayer.

I don't get why you are so angry. One episode got postponed because of Wimbledon, what is the big deal? Should the BBC have asked the players at Wimbledon to stop playing for 30 mins so that we could have an episode of My Family?

The episode missed will get broadcast at some point and is actually available to watch on iPlayer right now.

Doesn't this all go to show what a monumental balls up they made of the final series thing, and lack of vision they had for it? To me it seems they were happy to keep this strangely well watched rubbish just rumbling along for all eternity. It's similar to the way the Britsh car industry used to work. Churn out cheap reasonably popular rubbish until the wheels come off.

I just don't think the BBC care anymore. They've already axed it and the ratings aren't that great so they are happy just to throw the last series out in the middle of the summer.

Don't know what you guys thought of the Labour Pains episode but I loved it, I hope that series 11 continues the trend that series 10 did. It should since they are all part and parcel but personally I felt series 10 was a marked improvement on quite possibly the worst series, series 9. In fact I would rank series 10 as being the best since series 5. It's a pity it is ending now really as it now feels slightly fresher. It's also a pity they didn't predict series 11 would be the last, well I guess some did, but I'd rather that it was written with a "last series feel."

Yes!

Or at least moved the broadcasts around so that one was on a different channel.

Or use the red button.

I like My Family as much as you do, but, the BBC aren't gonna make the tennis players sit down for 30 minutes, when they were already running over. - If they moved it to BBC 2, people would also be complaining, as the programme on BBC2 would have been axed!

- Episode 2 is on iPlayer anyway, like one of the unshown epoisodes in series 10, so make the most of it while it is there! - I don't think it will be shown, and will just be on the DVD release.

I'm sure it'll be shown - and I expect A Night Out will be taken offline when someone gets into the office on Monday morning.

Well it has been on there over a week!

To be honest I don't think it matters what order they get shown in, it's not as if there's any story arcs to follow.

I just hope it stays on in a consistant time slot from now on.

Well, there were in Series 10!

Well, there were in Series 10!

They actually weren't! They didn't really have a story line, there were a few things like Jaines job, and her boyfriends Etc. which had to be in order, but the epidode ''Desperately Stalking Susan'' was meant to be in Series 11 when filmed, as I was there for the filming. - Also many others didn't matter where they had to fit in.

- In series 10 there were a few, that's why they kept them together, the others are just random.

I don't know why you moan. Wimbledon was on...okay, I don't like it, but they don't just cancel 'My Family', it is any programme what would be on! Then you say it should have been on BBC2....what about the programme on BBC2 at 9PM?! Is that alright to get cancelled?!

Wimbledon is live, and has to be shown there and then. If the BBC want, they can show the missed episode of My Family in 5 years time. - if I were you, I'd watch it on Catch up and stop moaning!

I'm sure they showed an episode where the son lived with his boyfriend, before they moved in together in a later episode.

Perhaps the term 'story arc' is a little misleading, but as you say, there were certain things that had to be broadcast in a particular order. For example, Janey heading home and then the NEXT week, being left that home by an elderly patient in his will. And she's continued, as far as I can see, to live in that other home; plus, as mentioned, the issue of Michael's boyfriend - the characters were not in the same situation at the end of Series 10 as they were at the beginning. That counts as an arc in my book, it's just not a single serialised story.
