Thoughts? It looks absolutely bloody awful to me.
Also, I remember a while ago a guy in the Critique forum posting something very similar: is it the same guy?!?!?!

Looks like a complete bag of shite, figuratively speaking.
From the little bit I saw in that link, I wouldn't write it off so quick. The acting is a bit OTT and cartoonish but it's got something there. I like the idea of a second generation Nigerian family from Peckham...but the next Only Fools, I don't know about that . Some laughs here and there. I liked the line about the yam!
I'm not happy about all the "thinking" we're being asked to do on here just lately.
Looks terrible are the BNP funding this?
Is Peckham supposed to be inherently funny?
It does lend itself to jokes about how birds eat their food.

I love it: the BNP's Light Entertainment department! And we all know what they'd mean by 'light'!
The trailer doesn't do it any favours!
The executive producer makes the show sound (in our feature article) very much like it was produced with little or no creative, storytelling vision, but just because they a) wanted to produce something, and b) wanted to test out this particular business model. Scrapping the scripts just a few weeks before production was due to begin and starting afresh just sounds bonkers.
I've not got around to watching any of the show as yet, but I've not heard anything from those who have to disuade me from the above. Which is a pity.
£175,000?!?!?! How? Why?! Who are the investors?
