Chip fancies taking up swimming but doesn't really fancy a communal swimming baths. Or the River Severn, which is his closest river and usually full of posh people rowing.

Lol. Did he write that out loud?

Not yet. But it's only a matter of time before his guilty conscience forces him to come clean.

You're getting like Griff with your last minute additions or subtractions to posts!

(Who I'll probably dream about talking to in the garage tonight. :( :( )

Perhaps but I bet you don't remember it afterwards.

Tell them to take their arguments inside. For goodness sake if a man can't enjoy a glass of Pimms with a bit of peace and quiet outside in this glorious weather, when is one to?

:D

I knew you'd pick up on that! Although I;m actually quite fond of the posh Shrewsbury rowers going up and down the river.

Out of their Skulls on Pimms!

And it's pronounced Shrewsbury!

Gigging in Leeds on Sat. Which is good except I'm getting the train alone, which won't get back back into Newcastle until after 1am. And will cost me £37.

This is an expensive hobby.

Stay over Nat, there is some great eating in Leeds. Makes it more expensive I guess though. Can you claim some kind of tax back on it?

Nah I'm not self employed yet, so this is just hobby costs, which can't be claimed. I'm not getting paid for it either, but it's a foot in the door.

I'd love to stay over, but that makes it far to expensive :(

Yeah it's not cheap, maybe have a friend to travel with you if traveling back late on your own?

My friends wouldn't pay £37 to watch me do a 10 minute spot in Leeds. I'm not that loved!

I'm waiting to see if anyone just happens to be driving to Leeds on sat. Doubtful, but better than getting thr train on my own.

True. Good luck with the gig!

Do some gigs down this way! :D

F**king WALES? Do you know how much and HOW LONG that would be on the train? Like 8 billion pounds! Unless you want to buy me tickets, it's a no :P

Move to London, you'll be able to gig every day and never leave the city!
