You are going to been in great demand I can see.
I'll try my best, dellas.
Are they 'cut and come again' salad leaves?
Yep!
We had salad with our own leaves yesterday. Huzzah! We've also got chillis and tiny globe carrots on the go.

You should definitely put 'gardener' in any dating site applications forms, see how it attracts the ladies?

I think I will, dammit!
Gloriously cool Cosmos:
Lychnis coronaria:
NOTE: Dodgy paint job on the fence by my housemate.
I can't be assed to correct it.
Phwoar at the last one.
It is so bright that it distorts on my 10MP camera
There is a more sedate white-flowered variety, though.
I think I've got Cosmo
I planted them a few years ago but they keep on coming.
I took a few out this year as they can take over the space somewhat.
I just took some pics but the sun is going down & the flowers aren't at their best
The cosmos pic, the cactus plant at the side, I have one, what is it?
returns every year and goes maroon in winter! thanks
SNAP Steve!!
The 'cacti' plant is a sedum, dellas. It's not a cacti, though! It's a succulent herbaceous perennial.
It's as tough as old boots and a very worthwhile plant to have.
You can cut it down to the ground in autumn, but the birds do love the seedheads.
Nice one, TB. The bright colours have burned into my retina.
You should see them in the moonlight. Colossal.
