As an atheist I don't believe this sitcom exists.
I'm counting, I'm counting, but still a lot to get through and now I'm off to work. If anyone else wants to do a rough count while I'm away, that would be helpful. Then we can compare your total with mine as a double-check in case of tie breaks (it's not impossible I may miss a score hidden among the threads along the way). If anyone were to do this, you need to keep a list of voter identities beside the scores, which is what's taking me so long.
You should have your "winners" tonight. I use inverted commas because, remember, there are no real losers in The Sitcom Trials.
Cheesy enough for you?

The Sitcom Trials
Quote: Kev F @ March 24 2011, 10:48 PM BSTVotes are then totalled thus; Yes = 2 points, Maybe = 1 point, No = minus -1 point. This way we draw up a shortlist for a script reading, from which we select the items to go into the stage show.
Kev, is it still the plan to have a shortlist for a script reading or is it now the top four or five scripts are the ones to be performed?
Also, will we be seeing the rest of your reviews? I doubt very much I'm going to get through to the Lass O'Gowrie but, as an 'A' script, your feedback would be really useful. Thanks.
Also Kev, can we have some clarity on whether if voters haven't commented on a script is that taken to be a 'No' (ie minus-one) vote?
I seem to remember Kev saying somewhere that the absence of a vote=0 points. So no vote is better than a "NO" vote.
I love the English language. I must get around to learning it proper one day.
By the way, has anyone been totalling up the votes? Any idea who are the front runners are?
Okay, I've counted them up if you need a comparison/reference, Kev, but a few things to clarify:
(1) Some of your own votes are missing from publication, as yours start at Broken Records and work their way down, but you never published your other votes.
(2) A non-vote for a script counts as zero points (ie not a 'NO') and is considered unread.
(3) There are 3 sets of votes without critique, so I assume these are to be discarded, as you stated. I still have them in the spreadsheet with a separate score if you include these, but am assuming they are to be excluded?

I've been trying, but it appears I'm dysclaliculix too (as well as being dyslecksix).
I think Checkpoint Dave's the leader by a long margin, though as I say I could be wrong.

You mean I spent all that time reading them and voting and it doesn't count?
You know the rules BB, they are hard and fast... unless they change!
Marc: To be fair, the bit about having to review as well as vote was in the original post on this thread.

I've counted yours on the basis that you've obviously read them all and there are a good 10 or 15 posts to prove that!
Dan
Dan: Can you post your results? Or will that be a breach of clause 3.2 of the oral contract?

I read them twice eventually swerytd, thinking I could just click on yes or no, but by the time I'd waited for a voting 'system' I'd forgotten the pieces so had to read again [my age]
