Lead Balloon - Series 4 Page 11

I discovered this in the recent re-runs prior to this series. And have to say thought it was great.

But agree with everything that has been hurled in its direction over the last few weeks.

I simply don't understand why the two are married. There is nothing there between the two. God, with Victor and Margret in OFITG you could see the obvious underlying love she had for him. Here there is nothing.

As has recently been posted, the kids are the best part of the show (the only recent laugh was Ben "fixing" the TV by turning it upside-down), but agree with Godot the pleasing thing used to be how they used him...even they have "dumbed" down.

etc etc etc etc etc.

Wave Good fellow! :) Spot on, sir.

This show only serves to expose the gulf between originality and someone who emulates. It is also another clear indication that the BBC is a closed shop that only deals with a selected few. 10,000 scripts a year go through the Writers Room and we end up with this and Rock & Chips, Green Green Grass etc etc etc etc etc.

I don't think you have to worry about John Sullivan monopolising the sitcom market anymore.
