Since this is a thread about discussing performance opportunities, I'd like to take this time to suggest an alternative type of performance: live broadcasting via the internet. I am the Community Coordinator at a new website launching in July 2011 and called YouNow, and it's basically like an open mic night, except it's done from your own computer, and your audience is also online, available to give feedback.

Test broadcasts are occurring this week and next week in preparation for the public launch and YouNow is in need of broadcasters. There are prizes given out for every broadcast to thank participants, and in addition, you have the opportunity to gain exposure through our social networking efforts once we go live in July.
