S. Mouse is terrible but I like the Japanese mother. It's crazy that Gran, by far the best character, has featured so little.

I mute all the S.mouse scenes now, but I love the rest.

I know I'm not really supposed to say this about someone else's work, but I'm glad that I can see that other people hate this show and not just me, although I would half agree and half disagree with Sootyj. I agree it is witless but I disagree on the racist front (unless I have missed something recently), because I believe we (the entire world or maybe just Britain) need to re-adjust what being 'racist' is. I have stated multiple times what I think of this show otherwise and I shall try to not state it again.

Weirdly, the most poignant moment in the show was when S. Mouse's dad told him his new song was rubbish and S. Mouse looked genuinely hurt. All he wanted all along was his dad's approval. Aww.

Seriously? I mean it's not a bad joke.

But it's so thuddingly obvious, all those lisping r's and t's and the completely over egged characture of the over ambitious dragon mum.

And because the son and father are such small roles there's no counterpoint.

Infuriating because the Nathan character is very, very funny. And a rather nuanced portrayal of a young guy with communication difficulties. Seriously it's a Rainman good representation.

It's hard for me to square how the same guy came up with the same 2 characters.

Seriously?

Yes.

This isn't going to turn into another intermidable debate, where you bow out saying how boring arguments are?

Cos it doesn't look good when Ed Milliband does it,

All the cock stuff made me laugh, is all. She's not subtle, and the son is virtually non-existant as a character, but she's made me laugh thrusting pictures of half-naked men into her boy's face.

I like Nathan and his brother, I just think Lilley did them before so much better in We Can Be Heroes. It just feels like we're retreading old ground with him.

Still, on the bright side, Gran returns next week and it already looks funnier.

Gran is excelent.

But the mum meh the same joke repeated a 100 times, she's more like something out of a not especially good Roald Dahl rip off.

Oh bums, I knew I'd miss a good bit.

Agree.

It was about 3 seconds.

And kinda obvious.

S.Mouse was the only character to make me laugh out loud in the first episodes. His raps were just so stupid that I could hardly comprehend what I was hearing.

Can't say I've been rushing to watch any of the newer episodes. There's something about chris lilley that makes me feel uneasy.

Hangs abouts, aren't you the same poster who raves about Doctor Who episodes you can predict the outcome of after half a scene?

I've watched 2 episodes but won't be watching any more. Yawn!

Diferent tension, diferent dramatic models.

Otherwise you'd wipe your arse with bread and make sandwiches with toilet roll.

You don't do that do you?
