I'm going! http://www.edfringe.com/whats-on/comedy/it-s-two-o-clock-live-at-two-o-clock

Hi to all the guys above me in this thread.

I would recommend sticking to the lesser known/unknown acts and take a chance on finding a gem in the coalface. There are numerous (a bit obvious but I live here) venues not too far off the well beaten Fringe track. Of course support the guys who have "made it".

I've corresponded with Nat in the past and have a small venue for acts to practice, hone and polish their act or even do a bit for a feel of the real thing. It's also a cosy, friendly bar half a mile from the city centre, so is near enough to get to and far enough away from the mayhem.

I have the venue for most evenings (there will be music on occasionally) in August. There will be paid comedy events but at present all are fully booked. If there is demand I will put more on.

Due to a bereavement in the owner's family I won't finalise things until this weekend. This is a genuine offer and I hope a friendly way to introduce and guide forum members to Edinburgh.

I am available on mad-mitchell@sky.com or the forum for any queries I may be able to assist with.

Greg Davysson aka Davy Mitchell

We'll be there, sketching our little hearts out:

Particularly looking forward to Mark Watson's 2012 preview shows, Tim Key's new show, Frisky and Mannish, and the solo shows by The Penny Dreadfuls.

Hi Guys,

Any reviewers of writers who are going to be at the Fringe this year and would like any information/review tickets/access for any of the acts at The Underbelly please feel free to contact me (gregor@underbelly.co.uk/07770564667) or feel free to drop by the press office if you're in Edinburgh (56 Cowgate Edinburgh EH1 1EG). The full programme is available at www.underbelly.co.uk.

Hope to hear from you!

Cheers,

Gregor Cubie

August has come along quick, really looking to forward to it, and the break from London! :D

I'm so sad :( :(

Is anyone putting on a show that has 5-10 minute spots going next week? Coming up for one day and I want to fit as much in as possible.

You'll probably be able to find some in our listings.

Jaybus, if I had about 500 years to dig through :S

I've had some handy pointers via Facebook.

Don't think that's at all what you're looking for though, apart from the possible open spots at the end. Oh and just saw the price. :O

Oh Zooo, at least you're trying x

I do try, I really do!

*love*

Hooray, first spot confirmed! I'm looking for 4 more. If anyone is interested on seeing me in Ed I'll keep you posted :D

Tim Vine's doing a chat show at the Pleasance Theatre, perhaps you could appear on that? He appears to have reviews from Bob Monkhouse(?)
