It was someone's birthday at work today. He brought in cakes. I didn't have one.
My Jury service is supposed to end this Friday, but it seems the case I'm on is going to creep over into the first couple of days of next week. Looking forward to the icy phonecall when I tell the office tomorrow!
What are the hours of jury service? Are they less than a normal working day?

You start at ten, and the latest you're there is about half four. Though half the time you get to leave in the early afternoon.

Getting angry at Come Dine with Me tonight and slightly annoyed that I have to go to Elliot's tomorrow after he forgot his keys at my house.
