Looks like one of those creepy Jim Henson puppets died on his head.

:O
Crikey. Never seen that puppet before.

From the Dark Crystal movie?

Even more terrifying -

Blimey.
I guess I haven't seen that film. Or I blocked it out.

It's good in the way that if you watched it as a kid it has that nostalgic thing going on. But I was somewhat forced to rewatch it sometime last year and got a bit bored.

I'm sure it's either very thrilling or very frightening firing a gun.

It's neither, really. It's not much different than throwing darts: you sling some dangerous projectiles around and try to hit a target. Satisfaction comes from improving your ability to hit the target where you aimed and from besting your competitors.

The sooner they shoot each other to death by accident, the better...

I've met them both and they were friendly and chatty. I like a bit of irreverence.

Oh, I imagine it's no big deal once you've fired it for the second time. But there must be a moment of contemplation of what you have just done the first time you fire a gun. There is a very different mind-set when you haven't grown up with weapons like that being the norm. Maybe there is ignorance on our behalf. But I think in this case, ignorance is bliss as they say.

The little one talks in real life? That's good. I like the cut of his jib a bit more than the other.

I don't think there's ever any reflection upon shooting a paper target. A person, sure, but the reaction upon shooting an inanimate object is either "Yay, I hit it!" or "Crap, I missed it."

Most of all, shooting is fun. There's a reason that vacation destinations like Las Vegas and Orlando are full of "shoot a machine gun" attractions. European and Asian tourists love that stuff.

I'm having a really terrible day. Pit of misery sort of day. I'm wearing a sheet and drinking milkshake.

Shucks whats up?

I've never seen The Dark Crystal. Always saw it in the rental shop when I was little, but never got it. Never seemed to be on TV either. I fear I missed out on another one of life's treats again.

I'll get back to you on that when I get the chance to try one out. Because as hypocritical as this sounds, I wouldn't turn down the chance to have a go. F**k it! :D

I think it's on Five once in a blue moon. I never enjoyed it as much as Neverending Story, Labyrinth and other similar films.

I'd love to have a go with some submachine guns. Then people wouldn't push me around.

They'd have to be very submissive, wouldn't they?

It's a bit over rated which may explain the rarity of seeing it. It's dark but not very witty or human so it relys on the special fx which weren't that good to begin with.

Fraggle Rock was better.
