I cannot tell you how much I hate the tabloids- especially NOTW and The Sun.

I hope they get in even more trouble over this hone hacking stuff. I really do.

Enjoyed BBC1's 'See you in court' in which George Galloway is refusing an out of a lucrative court settlement because he wants to the opportunity to subpoena Rupert Murdoch to cross question him.

I would pay good money for that one.

I am a Times man and have been for about 25 years. I can't stand any red top.

I love the Sun - for the sport of course and always read the problem page. Great source of potentil material. Also read the Mail on Saturday and Sunday but utterly refuse to touch the Grauniad - even if it had a free gift I might like.

The outreach of the Metro means that they cannot at least push a political agenda, but even so if you can run to 20p the i is preferable.

The redtops are all unspeakable, the Times is better only in requiring an adult reading age, and the Telgraph is pursuing it into the gutter.

If you want to be told what to think by press oligarchs then those are papers to go with. Note incidentally that none of them have given much coverage to the press hacking story - because they are all at it.

Without wishing to generalise, journalists are mercenary sociapathic amoral c**ts who don't give a f**k about anyone or anything other than their own egos and wallets.

If you feel you have to read a newspaper, then go with the Guardian or the Independant, which still maintain vestiges of integtrity, and which might actually challenge your lazy recieved opinions by posting articles you disagree with, rather than cynically manipulating your prejudices to their own ends.

Why don't fish 'n' chips come in newspapers any more?

Health 'n' safety.

I don't read newspapers, although I would probably read i if I did. Although it still looks like a really smug newspaper.

It's just the cheap Independent. you can't surpass the Grauniad for smugness.

The TV ads for i were quite obnoxious.
I just wouldn't feel right paying for a newspaper somehow, even if only 20p. I read them free on public transport, or free online. Or watch the TV news.

(Now I see why everyone's italicised it. Flipping Aaron!) ;)

I just make the news up myself. It can be quite confusing sometimes but that's part of the fun.

Flipping Aaron!) ;)

Is that your new swear word?

It's the equivalent of saying 'Oh God'.

Oh, I thought he just needed browning on the other side!

(there's a joke in there somewhere)

Haha! Kind of. If you reeeeeeeally look.
