Mock The Week - Series 10 Page 2

Always the way. The funniest material always ends up in the bin, for one reason or another.

Since the Andrew Sachs thing I presume anything too risky just doesn't make it on air these days.

Bloody Manuel.

No, it's always been the case.

Jon Culshaw - hang your head in shame. Seann Walsh does a better Michael McIntyre than you.

Tonight's episode started a little slow but once it got going it was brilliant.

Milton Jones and Seann Walsh were the highlights. And at least Russell Howard wasn't there to ruin the show with his school boy humour. I know he's not in the Summer run of this series (i.e the current one) but I'd heard a rumour that he won't be back for the Autumn run either...

Interesting how the official BBC press release had no mention of him at all. Maybe.

Good opening episode I thought and I know by reading his Twitter page that Aaron liked it as well. I agree with comments about Milton Jones and Seann Walsh's McIntyre impression (a nice hidden talent there).

Now if you will excuse, I need to go to buy a Sepp Blatter for a friend Joseph in Hamburg.

Very funny episode, I laughed throughout. A couple of slow points at the start as noted, but picked up quickly and kept the pace. Very funny. Fantastic impression by Seann too. Uncanny.

The introductions to the members of the opposing panels at the beginning of each episode of Mock The Week, are like a "who's who" of people who shouldn't be allowed on television.

Well said, most of them aren't funny at all, I assume that's what you meant...

I'm rather enjoying it. When Boyle got a bit too full of himself he left and sadly Howard filled the void with the same attention seeking. Now that he's seemingly gone, it just feels more balanced and fun. All 6 contestants seem to have a fair chance of getting jokes in, not the 'It's all about this one guy and token female comedian, don't you DARE try and join in!". If it keeps up like this it might be able to salvage what it's lost over the last few years.

The only thing it's lost over the last few years is Boyle, although he was about the only thing that was good about it.

Still as good as ever, but there is always 1 panellist who looks uncomfortable or who doesn't get big laughs. This week: Ava Vidal. She was ok, but was left behind by the others.

It was the first time I'd seen her, but I thought she had a certain style. Better than ok, she was OK!
