Stop moaning. It's great to have heat at last.

I hate heat.
I especially despise being too hot at night. :(

Fan next to the bed and on all night = heaven.

Winter here was so awful that I welcome the heat.

Just lie naked with the windows open. Cheaper.

Windows open = insects crawling inside. Urgh.

I do have my fan on, but it clicks and it's pretty hard to get to sleep. Still, better than heat though. Just.

Mine makes a terrible racket and even vibrates on the wooden bedside cabinet, are there noiseless ones around?

Erm yay

8 hours is all you really need to go around perpetually armed

You can teach a 10-year-old all he/she needs to know about firearm safety in 8 hours and an hour of range time. There's really not much to it.

Most of my neighborhood has years of military experience, too. So do some of the wives.

Get a good ceiling fan, they're almost silent. I have them in every room of the house.

It's 100F here in Arkansas. I don't wanna go out.

I like the comforting hum of a fan. I'd gladly live next to a huge turbine.

Try a hummmmmmmmmmm CLICK hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm CLICK hummmmmmmmmmmm CLICK.
It actually hurts my brain.

Mine isn't noisy at all! Maybe if you have it on rotate it could make a bit of noise when it switches direction. I just have mine aimed on me and it makes me feel all smug.

Are you sure that's a fan making that noise, zooo? ;)
