Billwill has been to have his foot x-rayed & was interested to note that they don't use film anymore.
The technician put a thing a bit like a laptop-screen under my foot for the exposures. It must be some sort of super high resolution camera array chip.
Bip, Blip & the images are up on the network system at the hospital almost immediately.
