Clearly the ep wasn't a pineapple.

In some ways, it was like a pineapple; it was fairly exotic, the love story was sweet, and the hair of 'Lady Tardis' Suranne Jones looked like a pineapple.

Yes it was like a pineapple but it wasn't actually a pineapple.

Yeah I am with that one. Laughing out loud

A gin and tonic doesn't always need Gin - or if it comes to it tonic. Sometimes it is a pineapple.

And sometimes you have a lovely bit of pineapple and think why do I always have tonic and gin.

Sometimes it's a bit dull.

Pizza is the only place for Pineapple Sootyj!

*pops a pineapple grenade in an envelope and sends it to the Writersroom*

It'll get returned with the pin pulled and a terse rejection note.

Pizza is the only place for Pineapple Sootyj you homo! Where's my gin and tonic!

Clear evidence of why a diet rich in pineapple is better than one rich in gin.

Fever Tree tonic mind!!

Parts of a pineapple contain a flesh-eating enzyme. "Dr Who and the Pineapples of Doom" anyone?

That's not a pineapple, Doctor! That's a hand grenade!!

A vid for all you idiot Classic Who fans.

I've given Matt Smith a bit of a beating this series, but I thought he was very good in the last episode as his ganger. Good cliffhanger as well.

Although I thought the very early scenes with both the Doctor and his ganger were a bit ADHD. Thankfully they become more natural after that.

Sounds like a good piece of publicity to me.

http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/arts-&-entertainment/Adults-order-children-to-be-sad-about-Daleks-201105313886/

My favourite episodes of new who in no special order are:

Blink
Dalek
The Unquiet Dead
Midnight

If you think my list is a bit short please not that I haven't seen a lot of the new shows. This is what I've seen:

All of season 1

The Christmas Invasion

S2:
New Earth
School Reunion
The Girl in the Fireplace
Rise of the Cybermen
The Age of Steel
The Idiot's Lantern
Love & Monsters

S3:
Smith and Jones
Gridlock
Daleks in Manhattan
The Lazarus Experiment

Voyage of the Damned

S4:
The Unicorn and the Wasp
Silence in the Library
Forest of the Dead

Specials:
The Next Doctor
The Waters of Mars
The End of Time

All Matt Smith except A Christmas Carol.

I thought the revelation in one RTD episode that an object the Daleks couldn't open was a Dalek prison built with tardis technology and actually holding millions of daleks was genius, and the sort of thing that I've always watched Dr. Who to see. The rest of the episode was utter bollocks though and I can't remember what it was called.

I greatly liked the first Matt Smith story but subscribe to Badge's view that much of the success of this story was down to relief and joy at Smith being so good.

I also liked the memory thing in Silence in the Library, but overall thought the episode sucked.

I won't bother to go into what I think are the worst stories or why but I can't stand bad monster design, or 'There's a crack in the fabric of time that's going to tear apart the whole universe -style plots.

Love and monsters is probably the most misconceived episode.
