I feel awful about the prospect of being 30 soon. I do not own my own house, I do not have a pension, children or any kind of worthwhile career.

I'm a nobody.

But, at least I'm sexy, eh?

The average age of a first time buyer is 38, so you're not behind schedule or anything!
And I think 29 is average age of having your first child.

I'd had three by the age of 29. Children that is, not houses.

There must be plenty of women having them before and after 29 to even out the average to that.
