They're big enough to sail about in, but currently they're crocks so it might be a bad idea as they have holes and might sink.

Personally I felt pretty uncomfortable about what was being said but I wasn't initially aware of how it started. While I could see the humourous aspect on reading back, I did feel a line was being frequently stepped over long after the joke was over.

I think some people didn't spot that it was getting out of hand and rather than taking a step back, comments were simply upped a level. There was ample opportunity to cool it.

I consider Sooty a good guy who knows his stuff but I know if I were in his shoes I would probably felt the same way.

I've been pretty candid about this

He has a million fans I don't.
