oh and I'd like to add to it, in reference to comedy and why I think it's genuinely a lost cause at the present time.

A couple of years ago you'd have shows which would discuss stuff which is now taboo, and now completely unexplored by the TV comedy scene. It's like they're all afraid of the world around them, and would rather disappear into a world of blissful ignorance, dealing with small, irrelevant issues and essentially all just trying to pursue mainstream success to the cost of originality, and more importantly, quality.

I believe that there has never been a better time to use comedy as a way of confronting things which others clearly don't want to talk about, or simply don't care about.

what so desperately needs addressing right now?

If that was Charley she'd be willing to prove it.

If that was Charley she'd be willing to prove it.

I doubt anyone would wish to examine the evidence though.

At least she died with her head held high, oh wait...

Laughing out loud

Well, that's me in my avatar, in about 1967

She's not dead. Just in Panama.

One foot in the Grave?

One foot in the grave, one hand on the pavement, a lung spread over a windshielf, one brain splattered over the road like a Jackson Pollock painting and one orphan with one leg...

...catchy...

I've just seen on the news that her son is being talked about as the next leader of her party. What with his mum, dad, uncle all being whacked, I bet he's just cacking himself.

Keep it in the family Wave

What about a sitcom about suicide bombers? Really useless ones because they keep surviving or lose bits of their bodies.

There have been numerous names for this sitcom. What about actors? if its a female suicide bomber I would like to nominate this forums Scatterbrained Floozy as a suitable choice.. no offence SF by the way.

Fearne Cotton.

Davina McCall

Katr Thornton, please God let it be Kate Thornton.
