Wasn't there going to be a survey of members or something at sometime (average age, marital status, serious about comedy etc.) or did I think that whilst with a girl to prevent Mr Pee-Pee from being tickley too soon?
Any feedback on our re-launch? Page 16
Could've been the latter.
Is there a way to filter out the General Discussion stuff on the Active Threads page for members, like me, whose lives are already tedious enough that they have no interest in what others are eating, listening to or thinking about?
Not at present, no. I'll be introducing a number of filtering options at some point in the next few months.

How about "Girls On Top"!

Hear hear - funny how when things got revamped into the BCG the one thing you had to opt into was the writer/critique area "because comedy fans don't want to be bored wading through a pile of nonsense they aren't interested in" (I'm paraphrasing) but apparently it's okay for comedy fans to be presented with umpteen meaningless threads about shit (sometimes literally) on "General" where nothing is ever deemed "off-topic".

We consider General Discussion to be a 'community room', so to speak, and that once someone has signed up and logged in, they are part of that community - and we hope to get them involved, make friends, etc. Conversely, I think I'm right in saying that if you're not logged in, only the comedy forums display on Active Threads. I can't double-check that at present.
However, it all needs a bit of an overhaul, and at some point in the coming weeks (maybe later today, now you've brought it up), I intend to implement much more comprehensive controls over your Active Threads display.

An intriguing error, boys. Next time it occurs, could you e-mail or PM me the URL of the link you clicked on, an the URL of the page it was on? Thanks!
I can't open the Doctor Who thread this morning and get the same error message as above.

Me also. I miss the arguments: the cyclical nature, and clearly drawn sides are deeply comforting.
This is still happening in the Doctor Who thread, for me.

What's with the Ad banners being for American companies? I particularly like the one for reporting child sex exploitation.
I was thinking the same.
One seems to be an advert for swopping unwanted kids for puppies
