Torchwood... Page 42

Mekhi Phifer (never heard of him) joins Torchwood.

Oh blimey.
He used to be in ER. And was in that Eminem film (wearing a silly wig).

I only know him from the Dawn of the Dead remake.

the Dawn of the Dead remake.

I have seen these, but still don't know who he is. :D

Ha! A memorable chap then.

Bill Pullman joins as series regular:

Pullman always strikes me as a bit wooden - he was the president in Independance Day?

The showblockers article lower down is quite interesting.

Really? Kenneth from 30 Rock and Dwight from The Office are showblockers? I love those characters. Also Betty from Mad Men is wonderfully hateful. (And smoking hot).

Yeah, they are off the mark on a lot of them. Kenneth and Dwight might well be the best characters in both those shows.

This series is going to be WEIRD.

I'm hopeful it may be a good reboot.

Some more details on the new series:

I bet a gay still dies.

Marc P's gratuitous mention of RTD reminds me that there are three new Torchwood plays on Radio 4 this week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), probably as a precursor to the new series starting soon. I listened to the Hadron-Collider Torchwood play and even though it was technically poor I still quite enjoyed it.

Aren't they repeats?

I tried listening to one of those last time round, and was literally bored to death.
