Well, ish. As has been said, it depends on where the flat is. Also, what exactly was her price range? Seemed to me like she was working at least two jobs, and that's on top of being a 'background artiste'. I do wonder as to where she'd have parked her car though!

Anyway, I don't think that the point was so much the size of the flat as the condition it was actually in.

Well I thought the whole point of the episode was that Maggie had become really poor, packed in the 'extra' work and was now a cleaner making hardly any money. But the flat she chose didn't really show that, I've seen far worse flats in worse condition than that!

Oooh, I dunno! After seeing a few flats over the past couple of years, I found it quite believable. Anyway, I doubt anyone outside of London would really notice, would they?

Although I'm told they exist, by the lower classes. I do ocasionally let them talk to me.

I've just watched it, so been avoiding this thread like the plague. Anyway, really enjoyed it, thought it was clever and even had a couple of laugh out louds. I loved the bit with Clive Owen and Maggie...and I loved the dance in the Carphone Warehouse to the mobile phone music!!!! BRILLIANT!

It was fantastic! Really funny, a great improvement on a (I felt) disappointing second series; moving and even poignant. I'm glad that the happy ending was both realistic and not too happy either, It was just right - just like the Office specials. The 'star' guests were mostly very good, "FUCK OFF! I'm Clive Oven; that's mental!" was the most brilliant line of the show. George Michael was a little wooden, although it was brave of him to send himself up like that. However, I did feel like there were some unsubtleties that I felt were a little glaring - like Millman's Godfather-esque change to bastarddom being so sudden and some of the characters in the BB house were too obviously flawed (although the mother dancing to 'Tragedy' was hilarious). Overall, though, very, very good.

Karl's cameo was odd, 1). as I'm always shocked at how tall he is, and 2). as I'm so used to hearing his voice as himself it's odd to imagine him as an actor playing a part. I really liked the Doctor Who parody too, as it encapsulated perfectly what I hate about that show (and I don't like Peter Kay).

The full set of the When The Whistle Blows clips. I think I'd rather see a full series of that than Extras! There's actually some decent gags in it.

This is really clutching at straws. Why does everything have to be over-exaggerated? the point came across.

Most properties are price-weighted according to the size of the property, not the condition as the condition can be improved for a couple of hundred quid but you can't make a flat bigger. So its actually very clever as there is only space for a bed there. Job done.

I don't think you actually "give-up" extras work because it's so unreliable.

Incidentally I woke on the couch last night with the sign-language version on.
