What are you watching on TV? Page 1,443

Florida's Department of Corrections has a searchable database of prisoners, parolees and probationers. You can probably look up the "stars" of the show if full names are given.

Just watched an interview with Theroux where he said that he'd never been inside a UK prison. You'd think he would have done so in order to gain some perspective.

Jeez DaButt you're getting quite an anger on in advance,

lets hope Obama has him shot and dumped in the Atlantic eh?

Why would he need to? It's not a story about UK prisons, just about this one in the U.S.

I think you should watch the thing before second guessing the content!

I'm not even the slightest bit angry. I just assumed that he would have done shows in UK prisons since he'd done 2 in American prisons. I think the interviewers expected the same.

Who was interviewing him?

Mind you British prisons are so modern, humane and civilised they don't make for great TV. If we want to see an abusive system designed to reinforce criminal behaviour and make money for mega corporations.

Well we have to tickets for the US.

Well, he's done shows about the Klu-Klux-Klan and not done a similar one about UK racists. Theroux tends to be interested in the extreme's of U.S. culture, on the whole, and looks at that. It's bound to be more interesting to us as it can seem a little more alien and extreme.

You do enjoy stirring!

American prisons are going to be far more interesting than British ones. The US leads the world in dangerous scumbag criminals.

Looks like it was the BBC. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92fY3tq77Zc

If I were a UK viewer I'd watch this show and then wonder how my country's jails compared. It seems like a journalist would want to be be all over it.

It's a sad state of affairs. Want to borrow a few million gang members to liven things up over there?

The Baftas. Happy enough with the winners so far. :)

:O What the f**k? :O

What happened? I was watching Louis Theroux talk to an obsessive masturbator.

Didn't watch either baftas or Theroux. Too busy watching the second half of Italian Job.
Very incomplete list of winners in the Graun. Saw Sherlock got best series and the Killing got the people's vote so happy with those.
Will watch the prison stuff on iPlayer as the trailers looked interesting. Just how many of these guys probably have mental health issues?

Am watching Baby Mama with Tina Fey.
Thought it would be awful but it's actually quite funny.

This happened the other day with Knocked Up.

The Only Way Is Essex won something. :O Idiot public. Angry

I usually get annoyed when people say things like this: but I am proud that I have never seen one second of that show.
