Has anybody been in a bar/pub where someone behind the bar drops and smashes a glass and the people in there DIDNT all shout "waaaaaaaaayyy!!" ?

I haven't

I bet that's never ever happened since time began

I bet if you were sat in Yee Olde Man and Scythe in 1656 and the wench dropped a glass , everybody went "waaaaaaaaaaaayy!!"

Funny you should say that LH. I work in an office, and someone dropped a glass onto a ceramic-tiled floor in the kitchen - and of course it shattered rather loudly. There was no reaction at all, just a community semi-embarassed silence. Trying to break the ice (so to speak)I said "if we were in a pub, everyone would have cheered that".

Oh it only applies to pubs

it's the law

Why didn't I hear about this?!

It was even on Radio 2 Ben! Loads of mentions on Radio Norfolk apparently.

Classic car festival here tomorrow with more of the same shenanigans I shouldn't wonder. ;)

*gazes into a snowglobe of Sheringham*

One day I'll go, one day...

I used to work in a pub - that happened alot. Never to me though of course, I was amazing and never dropped anything....

Giving my harrington jacket a brief debut before I have to put it away for the summer. Also, in Caffe Nero.

Ha! Same here

Harrington with the old Ben Sherman shirt.

Classy!

I just saw the British Library scifi exhibition, it was pretty good.

I draw a digital alien, listened to Leonard Nimoy's spoken word album from the 60s.

And took the Turing test.

After 2 of my jokes the computer stopped working.

]Trufax.

I want to go to that!
It's there till September so I should manage to get around to it eventually.

It's not very big.

But it's fun lots of interactive stuff.
