Yodas on it!

:D

And he (and this old guy prosecuted at Nuremburg, mind you!) just made the comment "you might ask what's the point of discussing the method of trial for a man who's already dead?"... Paxman dealt with this media faux pas politely.

Just watched, on iPlayer, BBC1's The Street That Cut Everything presented by Nick Robertson.

Interesting.

No spoiler but, what exactly do you think you get for your Council Tax?

;)

Binmen?
That's about it.

'An intrepid birdman!'

'Go on then you have a go. Pretend it's a rocket, you'll enjoy that won't you? Go on ! 5,4,3,2,1.'

:P

"Has anyone pressed the button?"

"Do you know , we never thought of that!"

I watched an interview with G&S afterwards and was amazed to learn about the whole 'Tony reading the lines off a card' instead of learning his lines!

Never noticed it before.

All the way through the Blood Donor he barely makes eye contact with anybody - you can just see him reading the words! Mental

I didnt realise he was only 44 when he died too.

Looked well in his 50's by the end IMO

A very young Midge Ure on 1976 TOTP on BBC4

Without checking (and I'm outside a six pack) I think The Blood Donor was the first where this is apparent. He used it because of a car crash a week earlier and seemed to think that this was a good wheeze and he would never need to learn a script again.

THe rest as they say . . . .

The Shadow Line

Is it any good? Heard good things but not got round to watching it yet.

Same here. I wish I'd watched it as I think Hugo "Marion and Geoff" Blick had something to do with it.

It's on series catch up on i-player.

I only watch telly-stuff on the telly-box. It's a rule I have. I'll wait for the DVD.
