Never take a shit with the door unlocked.

But as a Northerner, surely locking the door makes it more difficult to get back in the house afterwards?

they don't lock doors you can trust folk

Can any of you lot help with this question?

Roughly, how much would a taxi cost from the Docklands (Travelodge) to County Hall/Westminster down in that London?

(On a weekday morning/early afternoon) Ta.

Outdoor toilets? We're not royalty. Most of us just curled one out into a mug and tipped it out the window.

It is for an 'important client'.

What is the average forum life span of a newbie who posts on Introductions? Or is there an automatic self destruct activated from the time that the thread is created?
Just wondered.

I can't remember if I ever introduced myself on there, Ive a feeling I didnt Eh?

Neither have I. I missed the thread initally and by the time I realised it was there I'd kind of joined in. I also get the impression that its for mayflies. They come in say hello, get scared off and are never heard from again. Round here its probably not a good idea to draw too much attention to yourself. :)

Or the competition that they have entered has reached its denouement, they didn't get anywhere so what's the point in staying? ;)

I've always found the idea of 'Introductions' threads rather vulgar myself. I've always assumed that if people don't know who I am then that's their misfortune - I'm certainly not going to pander to them. Unimpressed

I'm all in favour of having a 'F**k Off BCG and Goodbye!' section, however, where people can vent their spleen (about the clique and other matters) in a final valedictory post. :)

Tim, who else but you is going to use it?.

Hi, I'm Riley by the way. ;)

Will Poundland (etc) soon have to be known as £2land? Either the price goes up, or the 'quality' goes down over the coming years, right?

You'd think so. But I think they've been around for at least 10 years already.

But, a loaf of bread 10 years ago was, what.....75p? Now a standard Warburtons costs you £1.30. Using bread as an example, Poundland sells Warburtons loaves but they are only 3/4s the size of a full loaf. :O

So, they'll reduce quality and quantity until business suffers and then probably go up bit by bit. £1.50land within 5 years, IMO.

Yes, I expect you're right. Won't be as catchy though. :(
