Why so Tuumble? He seems a strange choice for such loathing.

He has a habit of scoring crucial goals for a kick-off (and from the kick-off - remember Chelsea?). I find the celebration of the goals pretty tiresome too.

I don't know what it is really but it's often the good players you'd want in YOUR team not someone else's that get the most vitriol.

I think Hernandez is a refreshing change from a lot of the sullen, angry looking players we have been subjected to. He smiles a lot & seems to enjoy himself anyway! Reminds of a young Michael Owen/Ole Gunnar Solksjaer with a lethal eye for goal. If he gets the games, put your money on him for next seasons top scorer :)

I'm looking forward to the FA cup final on Saturday, hopefully City will win to prove once and for all that football is better than rugby.

Well City will definitely win it. I'll stake my life on it. It's just a question of which one.

Hernandez deserves a slap. I didn't think it was possible to dislike a player more than Gary Neville but it's happened. Every time I see him I just feel angry.

With a sensible head on, what a signing he has proved to be.

I agree. And why the f**k is he allowed to have his nickname on his back? Little Pea? Little Prick more like. And all that praying on the pitch is a bit sanctimonious.

Did Jordi Cruyff have Jordi on his shirt when he was at United? He certainly did at international level - I can sort understand that though because that was a serious shadow to be under.

You represent the Dutch - one of the best footballing nations in the world - and yet you're not even the best player in your family! :D

Definitely not the first player to have his nickname on his back and since the names aren't required by the rules of the game why can't he have what he wants?

In FA Cup news, Robert Huth is still a cheat. :)

West Ham look to be hanging on by a very thin thread after todays results

West Ham, Wigan and Blackpool are down.

Put your house on it.

Classy :)

Definitely relegated. At least we'll win more than seven games in the Championship... hopefully.

You just know that's been done in the mirror

Sometimes nicknames are used when a player's real name is too long, like a player Everton used to have, whose real name was Predrag Radosavljevic, but had the nickname "Preki" on his shirt. Then of course, there was also Pele.

Just about every Brazilian has a nickname on their shirt. Ronaldinho, Kaka, Ronaldo... it's not really that uncommon for Hernandez to be doing it really.

Laughing out loud

Oh, I do hope so...it would mean that they had this many titles...
