Anyone seen it?
I stumbled across Louie the sitcom recently having become hooked on Louis CK's stand-up material.
It's another show where a New York Jewish stand-up is playing a version of himself, with the episodes bookended by fake footage from a comedy club, but this is not like Seinfeld.
Louie's more like the Coogan/Brydon show The Trip. Nothing really happens, with situations left open and unresolved and random characters never to be seen again.
The comedy is brilliant and Louie/Louis' character is far more George than Jerry (ie: Larry).
Ricky Gervais pops up in a couple of episodes playing, well, an obnoxiously loud man with a squeaky laugh.
Definitely the best sitcom I've seen for some time. New season to be aired next month.
