Norfolk broads is an old, old joke! :)

Aye!

My sensei said to always throw in a ringer to keep the old folk happy ;)

The zenophobia and 'She's game' jokes seem familiar. You didn't just get them all off Sickipedia did you? ;)

You've certainly come up with a lot, you're not venturing into the world of stand up are you? I'd say one or more would benefit from breaking up the set up and the punch line, but shows promise, certainly.

They're all mine but posted over last month or so on sickipedia (ironic name as I'd say less than 10% constitute 'sick'). I agree about the length of some jokes & am currently in the process of putting stand-up act together.
Thanks for the positive feedback. I appreciate some appear familiar but with wordplay especially many minds will muse over similar ideas. I try to think obscura to retain originality, and weirdness of course.

I know! You should record your stand up routine before you do it, so we can give you feedback. Post it in critique or whatever.

Some nice gags in there, along with some groaners, some which only work written down and some which have been done before (including the "Zenophobia" and the Twitter "I don't follow you" jokes).

Keep churning them out and keep editing them, try to minimize the amount of words needed to convey the idea behind the joke.

Good stuff. :)

If a jokes been done before (Twitter, etc) would you avoid it completely, or do you reckon there's any mileage in 'joking about the joke' if you know what I mean?
As for the groaners, I love seeing peoples reaction when I tell them what I know is a 'bad' joke. I think Tim Vine is the master of this type of quick fire humour, but his idiotics still make me laugh, which is what its all about I reckon.
Thanks for the positives Tony, Vader and, time permitting Mr P. :)

Some good gags, you think funny and it shows, nice stuff.

Great gags there bob. Good Clop, Bad Clop my favourite. Everyone I've told it to today has laughed Laughing out loud

WHen you think up these, you should NOT post them on Sickipedia, ad when you gig people may know them from that and assume they are stolen. Keep them to yourself.

I was thinking the very same today. I'm going to start posting decoy jokes on sickipedia, mostly ones from penguin wrappers or Christmas crackers. If I stick in a Madeleine McCann reference or racist comment, I doubt anyone would notice.
Seriously though, I agree & thank you or the advice. Been a very strange couple of months & I wasn't sure if I still had a sense of humour or was just too odd for most folks tastes. I think its safe to say that people whos judgement of humour I value (you guys in here among others) seem to like it so there is definitely a reason to continue.

There were some really good ones in there.
Funny stuff.

I have got a Good clop Bad Clop joke as well, but yours is worded better.
