Now there's somewhere I could really own! I could be like the Steve Sunshine of Saga! :)

Just get a grip Walker!

Your soul, like ours is doomed to roam these boards for eternity :S

Got engaged 13 years ago today...by the entrance to a British Gas car park.

The (now) wife had a packet of Love Hearts and she showed be one that said 'Ask Me' and she looked at me and said, "...I just might". For all know she was after a bonk but she end up with her finger in the ring. ;)

[quote name="Tim Walker" post="761742" date="May 9 2011, 10:26 PM BST"]Christ, this place has become almost completely intolerable recently (for several reasons - my presence on here being only a minor one). If even Aaron and many of the mods seem tired of turning-up, that's surely some kind of sign to the rest of us?

I suspect that the BCG has "jumped the shark". And not in an amusing way - like the "jumping the shark" episode of Happy Days... but in the most unamusing way - like the "jumping the shark" episode of Two Pints.

I think it was Rob Rouse* who wrote... 'The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity' - that just about sums things up.

:(

'Perhaps you are full of conviction, while the worst lack all passionate intensity'

Not sure what "jumping the shark" means? escaping jaws of terror?

Have not noticed lack of moderators however minimum wage can be a disincentive.

*sits back and waits for increase in geriatric assisted suicides*

:D

And with that, I'm off to bed. Night-night. ;)

Fun though it is to have one's posts analysed by Orac from Blake's 7, I really must bid you a goodnight.

I could've perhaps phrased it differently... ;)

If you want to keep up with the Illeterati, that should have been 'could of'.

Huh?

Just ordered myself a shiny new iMac. I love new toys!

Mmmm new toys. I ordered myself a mini tablet the other day. Hopefully should arrive tomorrow. Not sure I've made the right decision, as I've seen mixed reviews of it. But if it does what I need it to do (play music, check emails, etc) then I'm cool.

;) Most flattered by comment.

Perhaps my lack of 'off button' irritates one?

Affirm; serious 'bypass' of intelligence is indigenous.

My massive brain can rest, if that's ok by you.....
