Worst sitcom Page 3

I tend to just not bother watching sitcoms I think are bad. I've never understood people who claim to really hate a show then keep watching it week after week. And then keep posting how bad the episodes are on here. You cretins! :S

I'm with chip on this one. I'm perfectly happy to watch a trashy thriller/action movie knowing what I'm going to get out of it but comedy is one of those things that requires a certain skill to pull off. Why someone would dilgently tune in to a show designed to make them laugh that only results in them venting spleen on the internet is beyond me. Unless maybe they're just born whingers.

It's a bit early to kick off the weekly Doctor Who ruck isn't it?

:D

I genuinely enjoy Doctor Who, though. It disappoints me, and frustrates me, but I still get a kick out of watching it.

I'm thinking more of a show like The Trip. I liked it, but a lot hated it. And then week after week those same people (Cowards, Aaron, etc) would pop up to say how it's shite and just Brydon and Coogan doing Ronnie Corbet impressions at each other and anyway it's not even a sitcom. So why watch? :S

I didn't mind Hyperdrive, it made me laugh a fair few times.

Yeah, I was by no means its biggest fan, but it was nice to see another sci-fi based sitcom instead of the usual dross, plus it's naffness had a certain appeal.

Also, I can't believe Doctor Who has its own thread, a rarity in the General forum, yet that thread keeps spilling over into every other f**king thread!

It's an addiction.

And car-crash television, in the case of The Trip. I still can't get my head around how utterly awful it was, and the utter nerve they had in putting out 1 episode 6 times.

I have a partner who watches TV , whilst I am on computer, so I witness some awful stuff he likes, hey that is democratic ! :)

I enjoyed The Trip!

Daft idea ...

but enjoyable!

You got to see some nice scenery and you can't deny they do some good impressions!

Get a new partner.

I'm surprised to see Saxondale mentioned in this thread. I keep hoping for a third series, although it looks doubtful at this point.

Not really surprised to see The Trip. Even though I enjoyed it, I can understand how some might not.

Personally, I'd have to go along with Coming Of Age. I don't think I even made it through the first episode.
