Psychoville - Series 2 Page 2

For Americans - I've just learned that the first series will be shown on Fearnet.

A tale of intrigue, thrills and suspense, Psychoville will have you screaming and laughing--all at the same time. The hit British comedy comes to America this summer, airing exclusively on FEARnet HD. Comedy has never been so twisted.

How did you do that Ian?

A so-so slightly unfocussed opener. The clown funeral stuff was a bit tired and something we seem to have seen a thousand times before. But the librarian was good, and the Silent Singer had nice echoes of Sadako.

Lovely stuff, great to have it back.

Excellent stuff. LOVE the librarian storyline.

Got a bit confused by details. But just need to rewatch the last couple of episodes to clear that up.

Ooh my brain.

You did really need to have just finished rewatching series one just moments before.

Yeah, good new character.

Ha, it really would have helped!
Maybe they should have repeated the whole lot before series 2 started. (Well, I could have just watched the DVD if I'd thought of it.)

The only bit I had forgotten was the oriental girl; I was expecting the toy again, so for a few seconds I was wondering what was going on.

Yeah, good new character.

I love Reece characters that look like Reece.

Also she asked if her husband was going off with Nicola.
Who the f**k's Nicola? I had to go and look it up.
I've got such an awful memory.

Imelda Staunton was very good. Although as of yet her bit didn't really seem to go anywhere.

:D Same here.

Really strong start, I thought. The clown funeral was fantastic to look at, but other than the "reveal" (was anyone fooled?) it didn't seem to go anywhere. I love that Maureen's back, even though it doesn't seem like she'll be there for long. I'm really enjoying the new characters too, especially the librarian and The Silent Singer. Genuinely jumped with fright at the end of the episode too, can't wait for next week's.

Enjoyed it overall.
Clown Funeral looked like a dodgy Bowie video and, whilst I liked the 'Silent Singer', it kept making me think of Twin Peaks.
Good to have it back on the screen, though.
Thursday's shaping up ('Shadowline' opened well, I thought).
