Misfits - Series 2 Page 12

I think it is curious Robert Sheehan is leaving just as Misfits is becoming massively popular... it's helped turn him into a star... but now he's decided he's a big enough name to jump off a hit show and move onto what he presumably thinks are bigger and better projects (or at least better paid). I think it'll be a decision he regrets.

That they're going ahead without him is insane. Sheehan was the only reason I watched.

I certainly wasn't impressed by any of the other characters. Or the storylines.

I love the chav girl too, but Nathan is also pretty indispensible.

The rest I don't think would really be missed that badly if they left.

Black Girl's sexy, although her superpower is lame.

Her character's quite lame though. Well, not 'bad', but somehow I feel like she could be played by anyone decent and it would be just as good. Same with the others.

Gutted that Robert Sheehan won't be returning to Misfits, like others have said he was one of the main reasons for watching. I heard another character is going to be brought in, but somehow I doubt he will be a patch on Sheehan. :(

I only saw the Christmas special for the first time a couple of weeks ago and loved it. The afterbirth was hilarious, and some very interesting potentialy plotlines set up. With or without Nathan, Series 3 is shaping up to be very interesting indeed.

Isn't that the description of a good character anyway? (Unless they are written for a particular actor and even then the same rule applies.)

Evidently not, for me!

I think that was more of a comment on the actors, than the way the characters have been written.

Misfits: VEGAS BABY!

This exclusive 12 min online film gives fans a chance to say goodbye to motormouth Nathan, who armed with a new superpower, has got a plan to go out in style. His target - Las Vegas. With Marnie and little Nathan Jnr in tow, Nathan plots to use his new superpower to scam the casinos. As ever with Nathan, it's a sure-fire plan that can't fail. Except it does...and he finds himself on the run. Short on options, Nathan tries to call an old friend...

Anyone watched it? Can't at work.

Says I have to sign in.
Shall have to wait until I can be bothered to figure all that out, and then watch it.

I found it on YouTube because Americans aren't welcome on 4's website. :(
