I just think it's very funny that a Socialist Muslim president from Kenya has presided over something that true patriotic Americans like George Bush and Dick Cheney couldn't.

I do think part of the reason we saw no footage, was he was a very sick man. Who wasn't much threat anymore and was just being kept on ice till it was time for his final performance.

I won't lie I haven't followed his career closely but I believe the last video was in 2004 and the last audio tape in 2006.

I've looked on itunes but I couldn't see anything to download.

They didn't shoot him. They obviously shot some people but he wasn't amongst them. He died years ago. Wake up.

I doubt Osama was dead, the operation too kill him would have involved 100s sworn to secrecy. Not least of all the very ordinary US Muslim sailor who scrubbed his ball bag before chucking him to the fishes.

I think he was too ill to live in a cave or run away. And spent most of his time in a gilded cage till it was time for his last performance, getting shot in bed quite possibly asleep.

If there wasn't a conspiracy has been most fortuitous in how events in the Middle East have played out over the last 10 years.

You'd have to be an idiot to believe that he didn't sleep with a firearm at his side; he had one in most of his videos. The guy is no stranger to gunfights (USSR in the 80s) and was the leader of a group which celebrates martyrdom as the greatest thing since sliced (pita) bread.

It's hard to imagine any scenario where he would surrender. The firefight last half an hour and he had plenty of time to give himself up if he'd wanted. He died as he wanted to die: fighting the infidels.

We know he was unarmed and the fact the fire fight lasted 40 mins means he had plenty of time to arm himsef if he'd wanted to - he of all people would be able to get a gun if he'd wanted. A chest shot and a head shot sounds like an execution.
