Yes. And she's got similar features: 2 eyes, a nose, a mouth and no evidence of owning ears.

Hehe. She does look quite cool.

(As does our Scats. Especially when she wears one of her weird outfits.)

Haha! I am organising my birthday at the moment and making people go as Dr. Who characters. That will mean an exceptionally odd outfit for me.

Or just wear a short skirt and be Amy.
Who is Elliot beinggg?

I have no clue. My very ginger friend is being Amy. Laughing out loud

District 13. Like Escape From New York with free-running and French people. Very enjoyable.

Just watched the sequel, District 13: Ultimatum. Okay, but it takes an age to get going and lacks the spark of the original.

Kings Speech. In our local cinema for some reason...

Very good technically - I can see why the actor and director both won all their awards - but I didn't especially *enjoy* it. Not alot happened and there didn't actually seem to be that much drama to the whole event. Which, given the backdrop of impending war, is actually quite a massive criticism.

Yes, well for a commercial drama a slight problem with delving too deeply into the broader subject of the Royal Family and the impending war is that many of the monarchy broadly shared Hitler's point-of-view.

I was certainly aware that was true in the case of the abdicating king - and I think it's mentioned in passing a few times. But in the end, the drama is limited to a very posh, very privileged guy struggling to give a 5 min speech. I just didn't particularly care about him, and I'm not sure why I should. And even if I did, I'm not convinced there was enough going on anyway.

Two Almodovar films in two days: Volver and Broken Embraces. That might be one too many. Mind you I am beginning to understand why he is quite so obsessed by Penelope Cruz, even if she has been secretly incubating Scientology-approved space aliens.

Oh Almodovar. He's so crazy. I like Volver a lot though!

Is that the one with Gael Garcia Bernal as a lady?

I've only seen Volver and Almodovar prancing about in ladies' clothing.

Oh, blimey.

The Hoax. Enjoyable account of the Howard Hughes publishing swindle in the seventies. Impressively, Richard Gere adds "permed hair" to his acting repertoire.
